This is exactly what it claims, a brief history of the Falklands war, complete with an overview of the background and events leading up to it. Although short, it covers both the military and covert operations that took place, and manages to be informative without becoming dull.
While longer and more detailed books are out there (Vulcan 607 comes to mind), Russell Phillips has written a good summary of the events that occurred around the Falkland Islands, which is also a good read.
